Studying, publicizing and implementing the principles set at the 20^th CPC National Congress is the primary political task for the whole Party and the whole country at present and for a period to come. Yangpu District deeply practices the concept of “people's city”, focuses on the six key tasks, namely, “make people's city as the model, sci-tech innovations activate the power source, add warmth by enhancing people's livelihood, add highlights to urban renewal, keep the security and stability of the bottom line of the Party”, accelerates the construction of “city with four high points”, and constantly creates a new pattern of people’s urban construction.

At the beginning of the New Year, the District Party Committee Publicity Department, Yangpu District Convergence Media Center jointly launched “learning and practicing the Spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress and Making the New Blueprint” program, invited heads of Party organizations of the District Party committee offices, people’s organizations, enterprises and the sub-districts, to discuss how to seek development by focusing on the principles set at the 20^th CPC National Congress while elaborating on the practice of their respective departments, and major tasks of the District Party committee, and the District government.

Jiangpu Road Sub-district is the west entrance to Yangpu District, adjacent to Hongkou, covering an area of about 2.39km². With superior business environment and convenient transportation, it is accessible by Metro Line 4, Line 8, Line 12 and Line 18. The north horizontal channel runs across the streets; large foreign enterprises and central enterprises are located here, SIEMENS and Shanghai Tobacco Group, etc. High-quality education and health resources such as Xinhua Hospital, Kongjiang Private School and Cunzhi School are also here in Jiangpu Road Sub-district.
