District Party Committee Member, Minister of Organization Qin Liping Visits Jiangpu Road Street as part of the "Five-Year Anniversary of the People’s City 'Four Hundreds' Grassroots Visits" and the "Frontline Work Method" focused campaign. November 29,2024

To fully implement the concept of a People's City, walk the path of the masses in the new era, and carry forward the fine style of "Engaging Four Practices by Going down to the Grassroots," Qin Liping, a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, recently visited Jiangpu Road Subdistrict. She held a meeting with street leaders, relevant department heads, the secretary and director of Hengyang Community, and representatives of the property management committee. During the meeting, she thoroughly understood the progress of the shared underground parking in the surrounding public spaces of the community and listened to the key work reports of Hengyang Communitys "Two Committees" for 2025.

At the meeting, Qin Liping showed great concern for the pressing and difficult issues raised by residents. She focused on understanding the progress of shared parking initiatives in underground garages around residential areas. Qin emphasized the need for the subdistrict to revitalize existing resources, expand capacity, and effectively utilize variables from external sources, ensuring progress and promptly implementing detailed parking solutions to benefit residents. Simultaneously, she urged residential communities to leverage the Party's leadership through the "three driving forces," mobilizing party members and residents to collaborate and brainstorm. By combining internal and external efforts, the aim is to further alleviate parking challenges in the community.

Hengyang Community's Party branch and residents' committee reported on the key tasks for 2025, covering the strengthening of the Two Committeesteam, promoting diverse participation in grassroots governance, and organizing various activities to enhance Party-community cohesion.

Qin Liping emphasized that in the next phase of work, three key areas must be effectively addressed: First, Selecting the Right People: Residential community work serves as the "nerve endings" for connecting with and serving the people. This requires a high-quality, professional, and capable workforce. Additionally, it is essential to take the "Old Yangshu Lecture Series" as an example, fully leveraging the strengths of veteran comrades and senior Party members to collaboratively excel in community work. Second, Doing the Right Things: Residential community work aims to address the practical needs of residents. It must always adhere to a problem-oriented approach, focusing on the pressing and challenging issues that concern residents. Practical and feasible solutions should be developed, with strengthened follow-up and evaluation to ensure effectiveness, striving to enhance residents' sense of happiness, fulfillment, and satisfaction. Third, Ensuring Safety: Safety serves as the bottom line of residential community work and must always be the top priority. Particularly during the dry winter season, when fire and other accidents are more likely to occur, it is essential to strengthen the identification and rectification of safety hazards. Special attention should be given to caring for vulnerable groups, such as the elderly living alone, to ensure the safety of residents' lives and property. Efforts must focus on tightening the "safety valve" at the year's end.
