Wujiaochang Subdistrict Launches "Five-Year Anniversary of the People’s City 'Four Hundreds' Grassroots Visits" and the "Frontline Work Method" focused campaign December 04,2024
In order to fully implement the People’s City concept and follow the people-centered approach in the new era, district leaders, along with leaders from the district’s offices and subdistrict party and government teams, visited key enterprises and residential areas in Wujiaochang Subdistrict as part of the "Five-Year Anniversary of the People’s City 'Four Hundreds' Grassroots Visits" and the "Frontline Work Method" focused campaign. They listened to the voices of the people, understood the needs of the grassroots, and addressed urgent issues, ensuring that the People’s City concept is implemented effectively through practical actions and results.
Standing Committee member and Executive Deputy District Chief Ni Bing visited the Daxue Road block and the Chuangzhifang Service Station for Party & Mass Affairs to conduct research using the “Frontline Work Method.” Ni conveyed the important response from General Secretary Xi Jinping to all members of the "Old Yangshu Lecture Group," conducted a field survey on the construction of the Daxue Road limited-time pedestrian street, and learned about the progress of Party and mass service facilities and the full coverage of Party building in new sectors in the Daxue Road block. The visit focused on understanding the Daxue Road block Party branch’s experience in coordinating district resources to support the development of local businesses. Ni pointed out that the People’s City concept must be deeply practiced by continuously expanding the effective coverage of Party organizations, mobilizing multiple resources to create synergy, enhancing the visibility and influence of the Daxue Road pedestrian street, and providing innovative power for regional economic and social development.
District Political Consultative Conference Vice Chairman Gu Dengmei visited the residents of Chuangzhifang, listening attentively to the annual report of the residential area’s two committees. She showed concern about the completion of the 2024 projects and offered specific guidance on urgent issues such as the exterior wall repairs of residential buildings and the management of commercial buildings. She also emphasized the importance of strengthening the talent team in the community and encouraged innovation in community governance to promote harmonious development.
District Court President Wang Chaohui, together with members of the "Old Yangshu Lecture Group," Party members from Lantian Residential Area, and local residents, studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important reply. Mr. Wang integrated the "Frontline Work Method" with the spirit of the General Secretary's important reply to make theoretical publicity work more grounded, targeted, and exemplary. Mr. Wang encouraged members of the "Old Yangshu Lecture Series" to continue sharing stories from their surroundings, inspiring more citizens to actively embrace the concept of a People’s City and participate in urban construction and governance. This effort aims to better disseminate the Party's innovative theories and the People’s City philosophy.
The leaders of the district offices and subdistrict party and government teams, who are responsible for the “Frontline Work Method” in Wujiaochang Subdistrict, conducted in-depth visits to the grassroots, engaging with key enterprises and residential areas. They had detailed discussions with enterprise representatives, the two committees of the residential area, and resident representatives. During these visits, they conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply to all members of the "Old Yangshu Lecture Group." The focus was on addressing specific issues and key matters in community development, such as the creation of beautiful homes, community parking, and the safety management of non-motor vehicles. They coordinated resources from all sides to jointly resolve the issues that the residents care about.
Understanding the people's conditions, resolving their concerns, gathering wisdom, and listening to their opinions—on the fifth anniversary of the People’s City concept, district leaders, district offices, and subdistrict leaders visited the grassroots, asked for the people’s needs and opinions, and actively responded to the public’s concerns, promoting deep and practical development in grassroots governance, significantly improving residents' sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
