The Service Station for Party & Mass Affairs of Power Auxiliary Equipment Factory is located at the intersection of Yangshupu Road and Pingding Road. With the theme of "A Century of Memories, Charming Riverside," it covers a building area of 800 square meters. The all-glass transparent design and steel frame structure complement each other, elegantly balancing history and modernity, showcasing the cultural transformation of the Yangpu Riverside.

Historical Anchor Points in the River of Time

The station stands on the original site of the East Factory of the Power Station Auxiliary Equipment Factory, a land rich in industrial history. The factory’s origins date back to 1921, when the American firm Shenchang Trading Company established the Shenchang Factory. Over the years, it has undergone significant changes and development, leaving deep marks in different historical periods.

From the industrial wave to contemporary riverside renovation, this land has become not just a historical symbol in urban development, but also a symbol of a century of industrial spirit. Standing on this land today, one can almost hear the echoes of history and feel the atmosphere of past industrial prosperity.

The Time Palette in the Auxiliary Equipment Station

The station cleverly retains the original gantry truss of the power station’s auxiliary equipment factory. With three key colors—deep gray, industrial blue, and silver gray—it marks the passage of time and the inheritance of history. Deep gray recalls 1921, when the steel structure gantry truss was this very color; industrial blue reflects the color memory of the factory’s outer walls from 1950 to 1970; silver gray represents 2020, symbolizing rebirth and an endless longing for the future.

A Fusion of Multi-Functionality and Culture

The station has three floors: the Riverside Station offering convenience services, the Riverside Living Room showcasing cultural achievements, and the Riverside Study Room gathering the essence of thought.

1st Floor - Riverside Station

The Riverside Station serves as a cozy harbor, offering services such as information reception and leisure reading, allowing visitors to find a moment of peace and comfort amidst the busy urban life.

2nd Floor - Riverside Living Room

The Riverside Living Room features sections such as Time Tunnel, Yangpu Memories, Cycling Riverside, Road to Innovation, and Neighborly Home. It vividly showcases the development and changes of Yangpu’s “Four Centuries” and the innovative practices of “Three Areas Coordination, Three Cities Integration,” making it an important window for people to understand the region's culture and development.

3rd Floor - Riverside Study Room

The Riverside Study Room gathers rich books on Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, as well as books on Party History, the History of New China, the History of Reform and Opening Up, and the History of Socialist Development. Visitors can immerse themselves in the sea of knowledge while enjoying the scenic view of the Yangpu Riverside, making it a place with both cultural depth and a great viewing experience.

A Riverside Base for Party History Learning

Inheriting the Red Spirit, Remembering the Historical Mission. The station not only records history but also serves as a place for passing down the Red Spirit. As a cultural dissemination hub, the station frequently hosts Party history learning activities, blending Red culture with industrial culture, showcasing its unique heritage.
