To deeply implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on urban work and further enforce the strategic deployment of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s Third Plenary Session on the construction of People’s Cities, the Binjiang Group Party Committee recently held the “Exploring Binjiang: Investigating the Path of Shanghai Expo Cultural Park Construction” themed Party Day activity, with all members of the Party Committee’s central group attending.

The members of the central group visited the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park to gain a deeper understanding of the planning and ecological development of the Pudong Twin Mountains area. This study aimed to gather innovative insights and experiences for the high-quality development of the Yangpu Binjiang area. As a new landmark in Shanghai, the Twin Mountains area integrates ecology, leisure, and culture. Its unique design and construction philosophy have attracted widespread attention from all sectors of society.

Following on-site visits and professional explanations, the members of the central group expressed a deeper understanding of the planning, zoning, and efforts made in ecological protection and restoration. They grasped the concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in modern urban construction and gained a more intuitive feel for how green elements can be integrated into urban renewal and how multifunctional public spaces can be created.

In the future, Binjiang Group will further explore the development vision of "Collaborative Innovation, Green Ecology, and Charming Culture" for the Binjiang region, deepening the ecological priority and green development philosophy. The innovative measures learned from the Twin Mountains area will be applied to the high-quality development of Yangpu Binjiang, continuously promoting regional empowerment, accelerating urban renewal, and contributing more "Binjiang wisdom" and "Binjiang strength" to the new practice of People’s Cities.
