On December 19, Dong Xinwang, Member of the District Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, visited Kongjiang Road Subdistrict as part of the "Five-Year Anniversary of the People’s City 'Four Hundreds' Grassroots Visits" and the "Frontline Work Method" focused campaign. Members of the subdistrict Party and government leadership team, as well as heads of the Party & Mass Affairs Office, Party and Government Office, Social Work Office, and Service Center for Party & Mass Affairs Center, attended the meeting.

Dong Xinwang acknowledged the subdistrict's achievements over the past year in implementing the "People's City" concept, advancing urban renewal, strengthening community safety, and deepening public outreach and summary work. He also engaged in warm discussions with attendees.

Conduct a Comprehensive Work Summary At the end of the year, the Subdistrict Party Working Committee should closely integrate the results of annual work with the unique characteristics of Kongjiang. Efforts should focus on further amplifying the exemplary effect of the "Five-in-One" urban renewal method led by Party building, showcasing the brilliance of the Kongjiang model.

Enhance Safety Precautions Considering that Kongjiang has many older residential areas, it is critical to strengthen community safety defenses. This includes proactive self-inspection and rectification of safety hazards. Leaders should take the lead in frontline inspections and leverage professional expertise to assist in supervision, identify problems, and address root causes, ensuring a more secure community environment.

Plan Future Work Strategically Next year marks the final year of the "14th Five-Year Plan," the planning year for the "15th Five-Year Plan," and a critical year for further deepening reforms. It is also the starting year for implementing the spirit of the General Secretary's important reply and launching a new phase of the People’s City initiative. Kongjiang must align with the district and subdistrict context, focusing on advancing urban renewal, building a safe Kongjiang, achieving full coverage, and other key initiatives. Efforts should be made to plan annual work in advance, ensuring a clearer direction for key priorities.

At the meeting, Huang Chunyi, Secretary of the Subdistrict Party Working Committee and Director of the People’s Congress Working Committee, reported on the subdistrict's 2024 annual work summary and ideas for the upcoming year. The report highlighted the Party’s organizational system's full coverage in emerging areas and the resolution of issues through the "Frontline Work Method."
