5th Anniversary of People's City Concept | Wujiaochang Convenes Deployment Meeting for Window Service Improvement August 05,2024
This year marks the 5th anniversary of the important concept of people's city proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. To better implement the concept of people's city and fully improve window services in Wujiaochang Sub-district, Wujiaochang recently convened a deployment meeting for window service improvement. Lu Linling, Deputy Director of the Wujiaochang Sub-district Office; and Zhang Yongkai, Director of the People's Armed Forces Department of the Wujiaochang Sub-district Office attended the meeting, along with heads of relevant functional departments and service window units.
Lu outlined four key requirements for the "initiative to improve window services":
Firstly, unifying thoughts and deepening understanding
The initiative to improve window services is not only a concrete action in response to the important concept of people's city but also an important move to enhance the government's image and the people's sense of gain and happiness. All departments should unify their thoughts, enhance their political stance, and devote themselves to the initiative with a strong sense of responsibility and mission.
Secondly, setting clear goals and refining measures
This special initiative encompasses 12 primary tasks, aiming to fully improving window services through hardware upgrades and the refinement of service measures. All departments should conduct scientific planning and make elaborate preparation, to ensure that all work tasks are executed precisely and effectively.
Thirdly, enhancing collaboration and collective efforts
The quality improvement initiative is a task that is comprehensively planned, holistically advanced, implemented in an orderly manner and deepened progressively deepened. All departments should firmly establish the "one team" concept, and perform their own duties while working in concert. In practice, the service office should strengthen coordination; all functional departments and service window units should be proactive and cooperative; the discipline inspection office and the united front work department of the people's congress should vigorously promote the improvement of window services.
Fourthly, enhancing management to ensure tangible results
Management plays a crucial role in improving service quality. It is essential to closely integrate the initiative to improve services with routine management and standardized assessment of window services, to strengthen the supervision and management of the service process, and to ensure that all measures are effectively implemented. At the same time, it is important to focus on summarizing experiences and drawing lessons, to promptly identify and address problems, and to continuously improve work mechanisms and service procedures.
At the meeting, Zhang interpreted the Work Program for the Initiative to Improve Window Services and made arrangements, calling on all window units to actively participate in the initiative.

This meeting actively promoted the "Ten Quality Improvement Initiatives" as part of the fifth-year celebration of the concept of people's city in the sub-district, driving a comprehensive enhancement of service quality, streamlining service processes and enhancing public satisfaction across all service windows in the sub-district. Moving forward, Wujiaochang will adhere to a people-centered service philosophy, striving to improve the service quality and standards of all service window units, offer residents more efficient, convenient and considerate public services, and constantly enhance the public's satisfaction with service units.
