During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Yangpu's consumer market boomed. Aligned with the 6th "55 Shopping Festival", the district emphasized a "youthful", "digital", and "immersive" approach. Under the theme of "Fun in Digital Yangpu", it issued graduation season coupons and introduced the "Cheers for Youth: Graduation Season Carnival in Young City" initiative. Based on a sample survey by the Yangpu Commission of Commerce, during the two-day holiday from May 31 to June 1, 2025, the 14 key commercial complexes in Yangpu raked in 106 million yuan in just two days, marking a 9.52% year-on-year rise. With an average of over 600,000 visitors per day, up 12.18% year on year, the complexes saw a boost in both sales and footfall.

Yangpu introduced graduation season coupons themed "Fun in Digital Yangpu", targeting nearly 100 merchants in the Wujiaochang business district. These coupons offer significant discounts - 60 yuan off for every 200 yuan and 20 yuan off for every 100 yuan spent, igniting consumer passion. Data from the Shanghai Consumer Market Big Data Laboratory shows that from May 31 to June 1, consumer spending in the Wujiaochang municipal commercial center surged by 22.29% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Tapping into the energy of the Bilibili 2025 Graduation Concert, Yangpu organized a graduation-themed ticket stub campaign across key shopping destinations, including Hopson One, Wanda Plaza, Bailian Youyicheng Shopping Mall, Bailian ZX Fun Center, Printemps, KIC, and Shanghai Fashion Center. The district also offered discounted movies, themed photo ops, and up to 60% off shopping, all aiming to unlock the spending power of young consumers. Bailian ZX Fun Center's focus on ACGN attracted flocks of young visitors, boosting sales by 87.1% year on year and increasing footfall by over 1.5 times.
