"Digital Yangpu, Innovative Zone" 2025 Yangpu Technology Innovation Conference Takes Place March 14,2025

On the morning of March 13, the "Digital Yangpu, Innovative Zone" 2025 Yangpu Technology Innovation Conference took place at the theatre of the Zhengli Campus of Fudan University School of Management. Luo, in his address, emphasized that Shanghai is currently at a pivotal stage in its development. Guided by General Secretary Xi Jinping's strategic directives, as well as the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, Shanghai is committed to enhancing its core capabilities in technological innovation. It is also deeply engaged in systemic reforms aimed at fostering a dynamic and globally competitive innovation ecosystem. This effort is part of a broader initiative to transform the Shanghai International Technology Innovation Center from a phase of foundational development to one of functional enhancement. Yangpu District, recognized as a national innovative urban area and a key support area for Shanghai International Technology Innovation Area, has forged a distinctive path. By leveraging its rich educational and scientific resources, the district has successfully promoted industrial upgrading through the development of the "Digital Yangpu" brand. Luo assured continued support from the Science & Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, highlighting the importance of collaborative strategies between the city and district levels. He stressed the need for coordinated innovation and reform, as well as the creation of a nurturing environment for integrated development across education, technology, and talents. The goal is to fortify the "innovation chain", expand the "industry chain" through the concentration of digital economy enterprises, and enhance the "ecological chain" through innovation and entrepreneurship services. Looking ahead, Luo expressed his anticipation of working closely with stakeholders from diverse sectors. Together, they will strive to elevate Yangpu's technological innovation capabilities and contribute significantly to the development of the Shanghai International Technology Innovation Center.

In his address, Xue emphasized that driving comprehensive innovation with technology as the core represents a significant strategic choice. This decision, made by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the CPC Central Committee, is rooted in a deep understanding of history and a keen awareness of the evolving times. As we stride into a new era, Yangpu will remain resolute in embarking on an innovative journey. The district will nurture new quality productive forces tailored to its local context and swiftly establish an innovation support framework that spans the entire district. This will pave the way for new frontiers in comprehensive innovation. By prioritizing the integrated reform of education, technology, and talent systems, Yangpu will unleash innovation vitality across the district. Aiming for the seamless integration of technological innovation with industrial innovation, the district will forge a robust "core strength" of innovation. Moreover, by cultivating an open and integrated innovation ecosystem, the district will lay solid groundwork for innovation. The goal is to transform Yangpu into an experimental field for the innovation ecosystem, a vanguard for future-oriented industries, and a pilot zone for composite functions. The district will also develop an innovative belt to foster new quality productive forces, thereby contributing significantly to Shanghai's accelerated development into a globally influential modern socialist international city.

Luo, Xue, and Zhou, together with Han Wei, Vice President of TusHoldings, unveiled the "TusStar Online New Economy Incubator".

Zhou, along with leaders from Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai Open University, Shanghai University of Sport, Shanghai University of Electric Power, and Shanghai Ocean University, launched a series of district-university cooperation projects.

In the presence of Zhou and Liu, Ni and Xiao entered into a strategic cooperation agreement between the Yangpu District People's Government and NICE.

Zhai, alongside heads of the Yangpu Science, Technology and Economy Commission and the Shanghai Technology Exchange, unveiled the "Yangpu University Technological Innovation Demonstration Platform".

Tai and Liao, together with heads of the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Yangpu Education Bureau, and the Yangpu Health Commission, inaugurated the Yangpu Youth AI Academy and the Yangpu Research Center for Intelligent Early Screening of Pancreatic Cancer.

Qin and Qian, along with Zhao Qian, Deputy General Manager of Douyin Shanghai; and Leng Song, Deputy Party Secretary of Bilibili, kicked off the Yangpu-Fudan "Digital Intelligence Hub" Industrial Chain Co-creation Camp.

Ni presented plaques to the representatives of enterprises honored as "Yangpu District's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Little Giants and Tech Little Giants".

Dong and Wu, alongside other leaders and guests, announced the establishment of the "Yangpu Low-altitude Economy Innovation and Development Alliance", launching the first university route.

Liu provided an in-depth interpretation of the Plan for the Development of "Digital Yangpu" New Quality Innovation Zone. Together with heads of the Publicity Department of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and the SICSI Cyber Research Institute, he pressed the start button, signaling the official launch of the Yangpu Digital Economy Compliance Development Innovation Laboratory.

During the event, an unveiling ceremony for corporate innovation projects and regional innovative application scenarios was staged via a video presentation. Additionally, the conference featured a dedicated exhibition area for technological innovations, offering a platform for local enterprises to exhibit their latest research findings and facilitate interactive discussions.
