On the afternoon of February 11, the "Vibrant Digital Yangpu: Building the Douyin Ecosystem Together" event took place at Meet678. Attending the event were Xue Kan, Secretary of the CPC Yangpu District Committee; Zhou Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Head of Yangpu District; Ni Bing, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Executive Deputy Head of Yangpu District; Liu Jinyuan, Deputy Head of Yangpu District; and Yu Jianjun, Head of Douyin Shanghai Office.

At the event, leaders including Xue and Zhou witnessed the official launch of the "Vibrant Digital Yangpu: Building the Douyin Ecosystem Together" event.

Ni presented Douyin Group with a "business support package" - a comprehensive set of policy support and coordinated measures from district functional departments, which also marks a significant step in deepening the district's efforts to serve key enterprises.

Liu, in his address, noted that in recent years, Yangpu has leveraged its unique advantages of "technology innovation + digital economy" and "universities + major enterprises" to build a "1+2+3+4" innovative modern industrial system led by the digital economy, continuously promoting the "Digital Yangpu" brand. As a leading digital enterprise in Yangpu, Douyin has made significant contributions to economic development, industrial agglomeration, and technological innovation. He hoped that Douyin would continue to lead and drive the development of numerous AI enterprises, create more application scenarios, and jointly transform the district into a hub for AI and digital economy industries. He also encouraged exploring new models and forms of the digital economy, empowering Yangpu with AI.

To enhance the festive atmosphere of the Lantern Festival, Volcengine leveraged its product technology to showcase Yangpu's recent industrial development measures, compose a Lantern Festival-themed song, and generate a couplet. These creative displays earned rounds of applause from the audience. The "AI Magic Pen Writes New Chapters" segment vividly demonstrated the capabilities of text generation (text-to-text), image generation (text-to-image), music creation (text-to-music), lyric composition (text-to-lyrics), and voice recognition through interactive scenarios such as policy Q&A, couplet image generation, and music creation.

Hao Haiying, a senior solutions architect from Volcengine, delivered a keynote speech titled Empowering Yangpu with AI: Technological Leap and Industrial Upgrading. Volcengine, based on large models, intelligent agents, and richer implementation experience, will uphold the pragmatic and innovative spirit of Yangpu's century-old industry. It will collaborate deeply with local enterprises to create an AI-driven economic growth flywheel, promote technological iteration and ecosystem development through scenario incubation, and achieve widespread application of AI.

The snake brings auspiciousness, and the Lantern Festival's joy knows no bounds. The event concluded with a spectacular drone show and a tour of the street, where leaders enjoyed traditional Lantern Festival activities such as tasting tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), guessing lantern riddles, and experiencing intangible cultural heritage items, fully immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere.

The "Vibrant Digital Yangpu: Building the Douyin Ecosystem Together" event builds on the 2024 initiative "A Thousand Enterprises on Douyin • Ten Thousand Merchants in Yangpu", focusing on the themes of "technology empowering the Chinese New Year" and "AI empowering all industries". It aims to further explore technological cooperation potential, leverage the leading role of digital economy enterprises, and promote in-depth collaboration and coordinated development among local AI enterprises.
