Empowering Smart City Construction, Building New Model of Digital Consumption: Shanghai Quantum City "Shenyin Zhilian" Scenario - "Digital Coupon Intelligence" Event Launched January 26,2025
On the morning of January 25, the inaugural project of Shanghai Quantum City "Shenyin Zhilian" - "Digital Coupon Intelligence" was officially unveiled at Wujiaochang Hopson One. With the theme "Connecting and Empowering to Create a New Ecosystem for Future Smart Cities Together", the project aims to develop a quantum city in the Wujiaochang business district that integrates multiple fields such as consumption and entertainment. It seeks to create new opportunities for digital consumption promotion. Present at the event were Zhang Yuxin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Resources; Zhou Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Head of Yangpu District; Guo Dayong, President of China UnionPay; Sun Shan, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Resources; Xu Jianhua, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Deputy Head of Yangpu District; and Liu Jinyuan, Deputy Head of Yangpu District.
Shanghai Quantum City is designed to innovatively integrate and utilize a variety of innovative digital technologies to construct a space-time digital city that interconnects online and offline activities and enables sensing among all things. As one of the first six demonstration scenarios of the Shanghai Quantum City Space-Time Innovation initiative, the "Shenyin Zhilian" commercial space-time traffic diversion project is working with various parties to build a digital twin consumer space. It enables banks and other entities to conduct one-click merchant screening in the digital twin network of consumer scenarios, thereby improving the effectiveness of consumer promotion policy implementation. The project has selected Wujiaochang as the pilot area and Wujiaochang Hopson One as the specific location, integrating the Cloud Universe Starry Sky large-scale model with the distribution of consumer vouchers to precisely empower consumer voucher distribution. This initiative paves the way for a new model of commercial operation, creating a Wujiaochang business district quantum city that integrates multiple fields, including consumption and entertainment, and ushers in new opportunities for digital consumption promotion.
During this year's Spring Festival, Yangpu will leverage this event to launch a consumption promotion campaign themed "Enjoy Young City • Year of the Snake Shopping Plan", aiming to boost a strong start for the consumer market. During the holiday, the district will collaborate with major platforms to host an "online New Year's goods festival", delivering activities such as "Everything is Good for the Year of the Snake", Year of the Snake IP flash mobs, and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions. Additionally, various New Year's goods festivals, gift presentations, and fun shopping experiences will be organized. Over 150,000 "Exploring Digital Yangpu" consumer vouchers will be distributed to continuously enrich holiday consumption offerings and create a vibrant scene of integrated commerce, tourism, culture, and sports consumption.
