What kind of "enchanted encounters" can one expect when running a half marathon in the stunning forests of spring?  

On April 27, the annual Yi Run Forest Cross-Country Half Marathon is set to commence at the National 4A-level scenic spot, Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park.  

In the most beautiful April days, when all of nature bursts with life, runners will traverse through a world vibrant with color, where every step reveals a stunning view, enjoying the race!

Checkpoint Forecasts  

As the forest cross-country race begins, coinciding with the 23rd Urban Forest Flower Exhibition at Gongqing Forest Park, runners will pass through the Flower Shadow Exhibition Area. Famous sights along the path include the Purple Bauhinia Forest, the Multicolored Flower Sea, and the Wooden Hydrangea Garden.  

A purple sea of flowers blankets the hillsides, with large, full blooms gently swaying, their delightful fragrance spreading across the track. Nearly five thousand square meters of grassy flower sea featuring tulips, chrysanthemums, Icelandic poppies, and Ammania are a sight to behold!

Mid-Route Checkpoint  

The highlight of this year's flower exhibition is right in the middle, including the Pink Mist Clouds Exhibition Area and the Brilliant Spring Scenery Area.  

The Pink Mist Clouds Area is planted with an abundance of peach blossoms, cherry blossoms, and crabapples. As the main floral forces of spring, their shared characteristic is the stunning pink that captures the essence of the season. Cherry blossoms like snow, dreamlike and ethereal; peach blossoms vibrant, fiery, and intense. Running through this sea of flowers, one cannot help but be intoxicated by their beauty.

Final Stretch Checkpoint  

The race track is flanked by water bodies, with most of the path covered by dense forests of towering trees. Maple forests and pine-filled secluded valleys are lush and verdant. In these green-filled natural woods, sunlight filters through the gaps, casting a tranquil and peaceful light across the ground.
