On early morning a few days ago, the Fifth Sinking Supervision Sub Team members of CPC Central Committee Campaign against Gang Crime the 16th Supervision Team conducted supervision of seizure of the Fraudulent Loan crime gang.

In April this year, Yangpu Police received clues handed over from Shanghai Police, reporting that the crime gang headed by a person whose surname is Chen was engaged in fraudulent loan in the form of coercion, alluring and violence, etc. On early morning of June 21, after making preliminary investigation, the policemen in the taskforce captured seven suspects in five sites in Yangpu District, Minhang District and Fengxian District, and in two sites in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province, whose surnames are Chen, Tang and Jiang, etc. At the headquarters, Li Jing watched live video and listened to the report while talking with the police on the phone. Li Jing said the capture was wonderful and expressed congratulations to the success of the case and gave respect to the police. The capture was commended by Lu Yan, Executive Members of CPC Party Committee and Political and Legal Secretary, and Chen Zhikang, Vice Mayor of Yangpu District and Director of Yangpu Police.

Since the Campaign against Gang Crime was initiated, Yangpu Police has been active to push forward the campaign to the grassroots to improve the sense of gains, happiness and safety of the people, and create safe and stable social environment for Yangpu development. Till today, it has annihilated 22 crime gangs and resolved 23 criminal cases, detaining 133 crime suspects, confiscating, freezing and detaining case-related assets worth RMB 7.58 million.
