On December 9, the "How to Develop Digital Yangpu" Digital Economy Compliance Development Branded Salon was officially launched at Changyang Campus in Yangpu District. Yang Haijun, Chief Engineer of the Municipal Party Committee Cyberspace Administration, and Shi Fang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yangpu District Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, attended the event and jointly launched the branded salon.

Yang Haijun said that with the rapid development of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data and large models, data as a strategic resource has received increasing attention from all sectors. The Municipal Party Committee Cyberspace Administration has been continuously strengthening the management of network data security, carrying out special inspections on network data security, risk assessments of key enterprises, and network security assurance at important time nodes. Yangpu District is a big district for the Internet and digital economy, and it is particularly meaningful to create such a salon. The Municipal Party Committee Cyberspace Administration will provide strong support.

Shi Fang said that the branded salon should focus on the issues that digital economy enterprises are most concerned about, such as data security and cross-border data, actively leverage the advantageous resources of professional institutions and expert think tanks, build a platform for exchange and collaboration, and provide targeted Q&A and professional guidance to promote breakthroughs in ideas and solutions to difficult problems, and escort the healthy development of the vast number of digital economy enterprises.

After the launching ceremony, the first salon was held on-site. Centering on the theme of "Interpretation of the Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security", experts from all sectors gathered to exchange and discuss the field of network data security management, and more than 40 digital economy enterprises participated in the event.

In the expert sharing session, Hui Zhibin, Director of the Internet Research Center of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences and Chief Researcher of the Shanghai Cyber Security Industry Innovation Research Institute, provided a detailed interpretation of the core points and key provisions of the Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security, emphasizing the important guiding significance of the regulations for enterprises to understand China's network data security supervision system and its dynamic changes. At the same time, Hui Zhibin said that with the introduction of the Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security, China's legal and regulatory system in the field of network data security has been basically complete, providing a solid institutional guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of the digital economy.

Xu Yu, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Assessment Center Innovation Research Institute, focused on the practice of network data security risk assessment, deeply analyzed the key issues of network data security risk management under the background of digital transformation, focused on analyzing the main threats currently faced by data security, and systematically introduced a scientific risk assessment framework and methodology. Through case studies, Xu Yu explained how to effectively identify and deal with data security risks, providing valuable practical experience and strategic suggestions for enterprises to enhance their security prevention capabilities.
