This afternoon (May 31), the first event of the "Quality Convergence" Digital Yangpu themed seminar—the signing ceremony of strategic collaboration between Yangpu District Government and Shanghai Information Investment and the awarding ceremony for the first batch of Yangpu District digital economy think tank experts was held at Yangpu Riverside. Zhou Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor, Ni Bing, Member of the District Committee Standing Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor, Zhang Qi, Chairman and President of Shanghai Information Investment Co., Ltd., Huang Weijun, Party Secretary and Vice President of Shanghai Information Investment Co., Ltd., attended the event. Representatives from various industry associations, research institutes, and enterprises participated in the activity to jointly discuss new opportunities for industry development.

At the event site, Zhou Haiying and Zhang Qi jointly witnessed the signing of the "Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement on Jointly Building an Innovation-Oriented Modern Industrial System Led by the Digital Economy" between the Yangpu District Government and Shanghai Information Investment Co., Ltd. The two parties will comprehensively strengthen collaboration in four major fields: artificial intelligence, data platforms, digital economy, and basic networks, to accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces and jointly promote the innovative development of the digital economy.

The attending leaders awarded certificates to representatives of the first batch of Yangpu District digital economy think tank experts and granted the Shanghai Data Brand Certification Certificate to Shanghai Maice Data Technology Co., Ltd.

In the keynote speech session, Gao Ping, President of Shanghai Zhongchuang Institute for Industry & Innovation, Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Data Exchange, and Liu Yong, Chief Operating Officer of Shanghai Pujiang Digital Chain Technology Co., Ltd., delivered speeches on themes such as "data is a high-quality production factor for forming new quality productive forces," "accelerating the construction of the data element market," and "the blockchain industry supports the progress of Yangpu District's new quality production relations." In the innovation dialogue session, four guests from Shanghai Data Exchange, Agricultural Bank of China Wujiaochang Branch, Maice Technology, and UCloud Technology Company, based on their own industry characteristics, had a lively discussion on how data assets can innovatively apply and empower the sustainable development of enterprise business, providing unique insights into activating the value of data elements and accelerating the forging of new quality productive forces.

In recent years, Yangpu District has accelerated the "multiplier" effect of the digital economy, empowering the "Quality Convergence" of Digital Yangpu. This event, as the first activity of the "Quality Convergence" Digital Yangpu themed seminar, is another important measure taken by Yangpu to coordinate and promote the development of the digital economy and urban digitalization.
