On the afternoon of October 20, the 2024 Global Digital Merchants Conference Data Circulation Security and Compliance Themed Forum was held in Yangpu, Shanghai. In her address, Xu Huili stated that as an important guarantee for the efficient circulation and innovative application of data, the position of security and compliance in the data element market ecosystem is becoming increasingly prominent. The Municipal Committee and Municipal Government attach great importance to data security and compliance work. In the future, Shanghai will continue to deepen the construction of the data security and compliance system, ensure the effective development and utilization of data and the healthy development of the industry, accelerate the cultivation of a data security and compliance ecosystem, and support the research and development breakthroughs and iterative upgrades of key technologies in data security and compliance.

Yang Haijun said that security is both the bottom line of compliance and the guarantee of development. The "Digital Yangpu" Chief Data Officer Empowerment Project was officially launched. Liu Jinyuan and Liu Yingfeng, Director of the Data Element Division of the Shanghai Big Data Bureau, presented certificates to representatives of the first batch of chief data officers from "Digital Yangpu" focused industry chain enterprises.
