On May 19 that marks the 1st anniversary of the opening of the time-limited pedestrian of Daxue Road, the launch ceremony of the 2024 Yangpu Global Trendy Food Festival took place here.

As a major warm-up for the important IP event of the 5th Shanghai May 5 Shopping Festival - 2024 Global Food Festival, the 2024 Yangpu Global Trendy Food Festival features gourmet food from France, Spain, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, as well as a variety of internet-famous trendy foods such as hotpot, barbecue, coffee and wine in major business districts and featured blocks like Wujiaochang, Daxue Road, Kongjiang Road and Riverside, making delicacies a bright symbol of Yangpu.

The festival brings together nearly 60 distinctive catering brands and trendy restaurants in Yangpu that offer over 200 types of co-branded products and combined discounts. Among them, the restaurants offering cuisines from countries like Italy, France, Mexico, Japan and South Korea account for one third of the merchants involved. Italian's WVOLLA Brunch Bar, Solo, Bohemia and LOVE&SALT offer 520 premium sets, and Mexico's Los Pacos presents a special group discount with meals priced as low as 66 yuan.
