Enjoy Shanghai during the Chinese New Year - Exploring the Dragon-themed National Anthem Gallery

Introduction: Visitors are cordially invited to enter the National Anthem Gallery and embark on a "dragon" journey, immersing themselves in the captivating story of the National Anthem. Visitors will embark on a quest to discover the elusive "dragon" hidden within the exhibits. Upon completing the task of finding the "dragon," they will receive a small surprise as a reward. Visitors can also receive a limited edition Year of the Dragon commemorative stamp at the service counter of the National Anthem Gallery.

The Museum of China Press and Publication - Chinese New Year Series of Activities

1. Experience the allure of printing and usher in the Year of the Dragon with excitement

Time: From now until February 9 (closed on Mondays) (please refer to the official WeChat account for specific hours).

Venue: Printing Workshop on the 3rd floor of the Museum of China Press and Publication

Introduction: In order to cultivate a joyful and harmonious atmosphere during the Lunar New Year, the Museum of China Press and Publication will host greeting card printing and Zodiac printing experiences (free of charge) throughout the Spring Festival. Additionally, there will be paid printing courses and experiential activities (please refer to the actual site for details), comprising a theoretical course and two hands-on experiences.

2. Welcome the spring with blessings in the Year of the Dragon!

Time: February 10, 9:00

Venue: 1st floor preface hall of the Museum of China Press and Publication

Introduction: As the rabbit travels thousands of miles to deliver the spring letter, the dragon soars into the sky, enhancing the nation's prestige. To promote the rich traditional Chinese culture, on the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Museum of China Press and Publication will offer a "Special Lucky Bag for the Year of the Dragon" to the first visitor of the day. Additionally, 30 "Year of the Dragon Lucky Bags" (blind boxes) will be available to celebrate the Lunar New Year together with everyone.

3. Welcome the New Year, Celebrate the Year of the Dragon - Publisher Printing Fair

Time: February 12 and 13

Venue: Museum of China Press and Publication

Introduction: The Dragon Year Printing Fair primarily consists of two main activities: Check-in and folk experience. The check-in activity is an all-day event where visitors can explore the exhibits, take photos, and collect check-in cards to exchange for small gifts. Folk experience activities will be held from 14:00 to 16:00 on the same day, featuring clay sculpture, paper-cutting, coloring, and printing of old photos. (Limited availability of gifts and experience slots)

Reflecting on the Past While Striving for a New Journey - China Tobacco Museum 2024 Spring Festival Red Culture Theme Activity

Time: February 10, 13:00-15:30

Venue: China Tobacco Museum History Hall, Lecture Hall

Introduction: During the Spring Festival, the China Tobacco Museum harnesses the venue's unique characteristics, delving deep into the industry's red history, and meticulously orchestrates a variety of colorful patriotic educational activities. The event will feature a stamp-collecting format, where attendees can earn the "Tobacco Red Labor Movement Comic Strip" by completing assigned tasks at checkpoints located within the history gallery and lecture hall. Staff members will stamp the home page with a distinctive seal. Once participants have completed tasks at three checkpoints, they will be eligible to receive the entire set of comic strips.

"A Great Year in the  Hudong Workers' Movement Museum" - Red Theme Series Event

Time: February 13th - February 24th

Venue: Hudong Workers' Movement Museum

Introduction: The red-themed series of activities at the "A Great Year in the Hudong Workers' Movement Museum" offers the audience an array of red-themed experiences, allowing them to delve into a century of worker revolution and immerse themselves in the spirit of the New Year!

Event 1: Reflecting on the Workers' Movement: Check-In for Insight In the exhibition hall, designated points are set up for taking pictures (the museum provides small props). Share these pictures on your WeChat Moments to receive a red cultural creation. Limited spots are available, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Event 2: Dragon Energized: An Exciting Treasure Hunt Receive a "treasure hunt" task card from the service counter at the exhibition hall, and embark on a journey of discovery by following the exhibit hints on the card to uncover the historical stories behind them. Please submit the completed task to the service desk at the exhibition hall for verification. Upon completion, you will receive a red cultural creation. Limited spots are available, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Event 3: Dragon's Flight: Overflowing with Blessings As the Year Ends, A New Year Begins. Receive a complimentary New Year's blessing card from the service counter at the exhibition hall. Pen down your heartfelt blessings and messages, extending your sincerest wishes for the Year of the Dragon.

Event 4: Blessed Journey: Exploring the Exhibition Hall Visitors can access the online VR panoramic exhibition hall by scanning the code provided at the service counter of the exhibition hall. They can engage in interactive experiences by exploring the exhibition hall online anytime and anywhere. Visitors can now relish the timeless narrative of the red worker movement at their fingertips, immersing themselves in the valor and sacrifices of the revolutionary martyrs who fearlessly fought for their cause.

Event 5: Send blessings in the Year of the Dragon. The first 10 visitors to the museum each day will receive a custom-made lucky bag for the Year of the Dragon, available while supplies last.

Event 6: Discovering the Year of the Dragon: A Topographic Experience (Lantern Festival Session). Join us at the exhibition hall for an immersive topography experience—a celebration of our national heritage and a tribute to the spirit of labor. Dive into the rich tapestry of our cultural inheritance while embracing the ethos of the worker movement.

State Natural Science Award - First Prize Project Visual Art Exhibition

Venue: Exhibition Area of Shanghai Academicians Hall

Introduction: Collaboratively crafted by the School of Humanity and Social Science at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the School of Design at Nanjing University of the Arts, this exhibition showcases 40 top-tier projects honored with the State Natural Science Award. These projects will be presented through visually captivating art pictorials, offering a unique and engaging perspective. This event shines a spotlight on a myriad of remarkable accomplishments achieved by Chinese researchers in the realm of natural science spanning the past six decades.
