Liu Jinyuan, male, born in January 1978, Han nationality, native of Yangcheng, Shanxi Province, CPC member. He commenced his career in August 2004, holds a full-time graduate degree, has earned a Master of Laws, and is accredited as a senior engineer. He is currently Deputy District Mayor of Yangpu.

His previous posts include Director of the Office of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Work Party Committee, Director of the Administrative Center of Shanghai R&D Public Service Platforms (Shanghai R&D Talents Development Center, Shanghai Service Center for Foreigners Working in China), and Director of the Innovation Service Office of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, etc.
