On November 7, at the 6th CIIE, Yangpu District and Nike Commercial (China) Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation memorandum. It is reported that the contents of the memorandum include Nike Sport Research Lab settling in the headquarters of the Greater China region, Nike Employee Store relocation and expansion, and building a new type of sports consumption scene.

Nike said, Yangpu District is a national innovative urban area, a central area for building the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, a national demonstration base for entrepreneurship and innovation, a pilot urban area of "Innovation China", and among the first batch of national pilot urban areas for sports consumption. Nike's long-term foothold in Yangpu is highly consistent with the strategic development goals of Yangpu.

Taking the CIIE as an opportunity, the two sides signed the cooperation memorandum for the first time, hoping to continue to enhance cooperation in promoting business, tourism, culture and sports, innovative consumption, serving national strategies and empowering the digital economy and other aspects of innovative development. In addition to several major projects, Yangpu will also give policy support to Nike's major cooperation projects in Yangpu in the coming year, so as to jointly promote sports consumption, implement national strategies and build the people's city.
