Summer Fire Safety Citywalk Takes Place Successfully July 28,2025
On July 26, the "2025 Shanghai Amateur Games - Flame Blue Sports Carnival" featured a special event: the Summer Fire Safety Citywalk Theme Day. Hosted by the Shanghai Fire and Rescue Bureau, the Shanghai Administration of Sports, and the Shanghai Sports Federation, it took place at the vibrant M50 Creative Park in Shanghai.

From Old Lanes to New Fun: Fire Safety in Playful Games
Remember the "Nine Games" from childhood? Shanghai Fire Rescue has turned them into a fun way to learn about fire safety. Rolling hoops now shows "fire escape routes", and hopscotch includes a "fire extinguisher mnemonics". Nine checkpoints are hidden in M50's old factory corridors. Participants discover fire safety skills as they go.

In the "Ice and Fire" play area, kids under 12 can explore science through fun games. Creative kids can also join a fire-themed workshop to make their own art.

Want to know how strong a firefighter's helmet is? Curious about carrying a self-contained breathing apparatus? The firefighting gear display lets everyone get hands-on with real "magic fire extinguishing weapons" and live out their firefighting dreams.

Members of the Shanghai Fire Publicity Alliance joined the event, bringing diverse activities for kids and working together to promote fire safety awareness.

"One-stop" fire safety tour: Collect stamps for city exclusive gifts
The Fire Safety Citywalk Theme Day at M50 Creative Park is part of the ongoing Summer Fire Safety Citywalk series. It highlights top fire safety citywalk routes in the city. If you missed it, you can still join in at 10 checkpoints in the downtown every Saturday until late August.
