Remarkably, this year, a special themed float titled "A New Chapter of the People's City" will be unveiled. It brings back the authentic charm of the Lantern Festival Parade in Siping, highlighting the area's vibrant spirit and rich historical heritage.

Highlight 2: ICH successors at the fair spark your Spring Festival taste buds

The "ICH Fair" features two distinct zones: one for "eating and drinking" and another for "entertainment". Renowned ICH successors will be on-site at their stalls, engaging in direct, face-to-face conversations with visitors to share the rich cultural heritage, bringing a sense of authenticity and warmth.

The stalls of Yixinzhai, Quanjude, and Rongqingtang showcase the exceptional craftsmanship of ICH successors. Visitors will have the opportunity to savor authentic traditional flavors and observe the traditional production processes firsthand. And if you fall in love with the offerings, you can take these culinary and craft treasures home with you.

Highlight 3:Jiangnan Sizhu will show up at the ICH Fair

Jiangnan Sizhu (Jiangnan String and Pipe), an ICH art form, has been cherished in Shanghai for over three centuries, with its earliest roots dating back to the Yinxiang Port area in Yangpu District in the 1930s.

As a Shanghai municipal ICH item in Siping Road Sub-district, the preservation of Jiangnan Sizhu culture has been ongoing for nearly 30 years. At this year's Lantern Festival Parade, Ruan Hong, a municipal successor Jiangnan Sizhu, is set to lead her team to perform at the ICH Fair, offering a series of enchanting pieces. Be sure not to miss this special performance!
