On March 22nd, the National Internet Information Office announced the "Regulations for Promoting and Standardizing Cross-Border Data Flow" along with relevant operational guidelines, which optimize adjustments to the system for data exit security assessments, standard contracts for the exit of personal information, and certification for the protection of personal information.

To assist enterprises in quickly understanding the new regulations and grasping practical operation points, under the guidance and hosting of the Shanghai Municipal Internet Information Office, the Yangpu District Internet Information Office, the District Commerce Committee, and the District Science and Technology Committee have responded swiftly. They will host a seminar on the cross-border data policy series (Yangpu Station) on April 2nd (Tuesday) at 9:30 AM at the Shanghai Wujiaochang Dual Innovation Institute. The seminar will feature interpretations of the new regulations and practical guidance by relevant officials from the Shanghai Municipal Internet Information Office and the Shanghai Evaluation Center. The event is co-organized by the Yangpu District Integrated Media Center (Internet Information Center), Yangpu District Science and Technology Innovation Group, Yangpu District Internet Development Association, Yangpu International Chamber of Commerce, Yangpu District Association for Foreign Business and Investment Enterprises, and Shanghai Wujiaochang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute.
