Hot Blood Daily, the first daily paper in the history of the Communist Party of China with Qu Qiubai as the chief editor was founded. This popular political newspaper, octavo in format and with 4 pages, was issued daily. Hot Blood Daily closely cooperated with the political struggle, timely publicized and reported the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal mass patriotic movements in Shanghai and all parts of the country. It adhered to the correct direction of public opinion and combativeness, and paid attention to the popularity, closeness to the masses and diversified forms of articles, so that ordinary workers and citizens could understand them. Hot Blood Daily was only published in 24 issues, and was closed down by the concession patrol house on June 29. It has written a glorious page in the history of modern Chinese revolution and journalism.
