Recently, the joint political study session & social governance cooperation and co-construction organized by the Changbai Xincun Sub-district Party Working Committee and the Central Party Group of the Party Committee of the Business School at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology were held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the School of Business. In the joint study session, themed "strengthening community governance cooperation and jointly promoting high-quality and common development of the region", the sub-district and the school jointly studied the regional development during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, improving the cooperation to a new level. Present at the meeting were Sun Yuedong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Sun Hong, Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Sun Hongbing, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Yangpu District Party Committee, Wang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Zhao Laijun, Deputy Secretary and President of the Party Committee of the School of Business at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Sun Hui, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Working Committee of the People's Congress of Changbai Xincun Sub-district, Office Director Huang Chunyi and other leaders. Team members from both sides of the sub-district and the school attended the meeting which was presided over by Zhao Laijun.

　　Before the session, the representatives of both sides went to the construction site of Base 228 and listened to the moving stories of the demolition of Neighborhood 228. It was a new type of Party history learning and education.

　　At the meeting, Sun Yuedong conveyed his gratitude to the Organization Department of Yangpu District Party Committee and Changbai Xincun Sub-district for their support to the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology over the years. He hoped that the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology would enhance its close cooperation with Yangpu District and Changbai Xincun Sub-district in offering advice and suggestions for regional development and doing practical things for the masses.

　　In front of the leaders of both sides, Wang Wei and Sun Hui signed an agreement on community governance cooperation on behalf of both sides. That indicates that the two sides will deepen cooperation in the fields of Party building, joint development, technological innovation, popular entrepreneurship and innovation, talent training and civilization co-creation in the future.

　　Zhao Laijun and Huang Chunyi presented letters of appointment to the outstanding young teachers of the School of Business.

　　Zhu Shuicheng, Dean of the Department of Public Management at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, made a special report on the project achievements of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology - Changbai Xincun Development Community Planning (1+3).

　　Sun Hongbing said, "The communication is open and comes from the heart in today's joint study. The charm of "integration", power of "dynamism", and role of "doing solid work" can be felt from the cooperation and exchange between the sub-district and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. I hope that the two sides can face up to difficulties, advance side by side, and meet the centenary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements in the new journey."

　　Wang Wei said, "Today's on-site study teaches us to think in learning and practice in learning history, and effectively play the exemplary vanguard role of Party members and maintain the advanced nature of Party members. Meanwhile, it is necessary to put theories into practice, and to improve the ability to think and judge and the ability to break the dilemma through learning. In addition, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology is a good neighbor and business partner with Changbai Xincun Sub-district. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen cooperation and exchange, and create more sparks in community governance, cultural exchange and mechanism innovation."

　　Sun Hui noted that the joint Party building between the sub-district and the campus was characterized by early cooperation, deep communication and close connection. Depending on the circumstances, the joint learning today between the both sides has opened a new learning mode of the central group. Going forward, we need to maintain the high starting point to seek new and high-quality development with new ideas. That means we should promote the quality and efficiency of community governance, uphold high level planning and promote regional development integration.
