Recently, Changbaixincun Neighborhood has carried out the collective study and education of Party history. Sun Hui, Party secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changbaixincun Neighborhood and director of the Working Committee of the People's Congress, gave special Party classes to Party members and cadres of the neighborhood. More than 80 people attended the activity, including all the members of the Central Group of the Party Working Committee of Changbaixincun Neighborhood, representatives of retired Party branch members of the neighborhood organs, secretary and deputy secretary of general Party branch of residential areas, director of the neighborhood committee, and representatives of Party secretaries of "Two-New" Party organizations.

Under the theme of "learning Party history, staying true to our mission, shouldering our responsibility, and accelerating the 'Four-High Construction' in Yangpu District, Sun Hui, combined with the actual work of the neighborhood, gave the Party class from four dimensions: our Party's tradition of learning Party history, the profound connotation and spiritual strength of the 100-year history of the Party, and experience in the study and education of Party history.

On how to absorb ideas, self-confidence, spirit and fighting strength from the 100-year history of the Party and integrate the results of the study and education of Party history into the development of Changbaixincun Neighborhood, Sun Hui emphasized:

From the perspective of epistemology, we should deeply understand the history of the Party while grasping the dialectical relationship between "variance and invariance".

Today, the world is undergoing great changes that the past century has never seen, but the Communist Party of China has never changed its initial intention and mission. From the perspective of Changbaixincun Neighborhood, what remains unchanged is our regional position and the good work style of our Pparty members and cadres, and what has changed is that we are embracing the opportunities of the times. In the future, we should seize the opportunities, set big goals, formulate grand strategies and implement important measures, and make full use of our resource advantages to create Changbai Speed.

From the perspective of methodology, we should actively learn from history while grasping the dialectical relationship between "crisis and opportunity".

We should be good at summing up the successful experience and learning from lessons of failure from "crises", solve problems once they are found in practice, correct mistakes once they are found and improve themselves from "crises" so as to create more and bigger new opportunities. In terms of team building, we should be good at creating opportunities in crises, make comprehensive and systematic plans in advance and strengthen echelon training and talent reserve to ensure that talent can be used whenever needed.

From the perspective of practical theory, we should be bold in creating history while grasping the dialectical relationship between "destroying and establishing".

With the changes of history, "destroying and establishing" is only a relative process. "Destroying" serves the purpose of "establishing". Compared with "destroying" at each stage, Chinese Communists have found a solution to "establishing" accordingly. The whole process from demolition of "20,000 households" to reconstruction in the neighborhood is a new life after "establishing" bred under the surface of "destroying", which has inherited our Party's value orientation of always putting the people first and serving the people wholeheartedly.

In the next step, the Party and government leadership team of the neighborhood will go to the contact site of Party branches in the residential quarters to give Party classes and guide Party members to understand the 100-year history of the Party so that they will strengthen their ideals and beliefs and fulfill their initial mission at their posts, thus making contributions to Yangpu's "Four-High Construction" and the building of a "safe and harmonious" neighborhood.
