Recently, Wujiaochang Neighborhood, in cooperation with the School of Management of Fudan University, held a knowledge contest on the Party's 100-year history with the theme of "Looking back on the Century-Old History of the Party and Embarking on a New Journey". Representatives of Party members from Wujiaochang Neighborhood organs, communities and "Two-New" organizations, and Party representatives of undergraduates, postgraduates and faculty members of Fudan University’s School of Management participated in the knowledge contest. Li Yaopeng, Party secretary of School of Management of Fudan University, Zhou Ling, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Wujiaochang Neighborhood, Li Jiading, deputy chief of the Student Work Department of Fudan University, Sun Bingxin, deputy chief of the Graduate Work Department of Fudan University, Zhang Zhiwei, deputy director of the People's Congress Working Committee of Wujiaochang Neighborhood, and Zhao Weitao, deputy secretary of Party Committee of School of Management of Fudan University, attended the knowledge contest as judges.

Under the care and guidance of the Party Working Committee of Wujiaochang Neighborhood and the Party Committee of Fudan University’s School of Management, the Party History Knowledge Contest has been carried out to its third issue, forming a brand activity of Wujiaochang Neighborhood and Fudan University’s School of Management jointly greeting the coming of July 1, which was warmly welcomed by teachers, students as well as Party members and the masses of the Neighborhood. On the occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the knowledge contest, based on the opening of the 14^th Five-Year Plan and an all-round kickoff of the new journey of socialist modernization, has conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Notice on Carrying out Study and Education of Party History in the Whole Party issued by the CPC Central Committee and took this opportunity to absorb the nutrition of growth, stimulate the enthusiasm for forging ahead and greet the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Party with outstanding achievements.

Before the official kickoff of the activity, the eight teams gathered in groups in the discussion room on the fourth floor of Shidai Building to discuss the competition rules and strategies and got to know each other quickly.

The knowledge contest officially began at 14:00. At the beginning of the activity, the people present watched the MV "Embarking on a New Journey" prepared by student Party members of Fudan University’s School of Management to greet the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Party, showing their talent in carrying out the study and education of Party history in the first half of the year.

Then all stood up and started to sing the national anthem in chorus, officially opening the curtain of the knowledge contest. Everyone answered questions enthusiastically in the first round, i.e., the points competition, which soon left some behind in the sessions of the must-answer questions and the video comprehension questions. In the session of risk questions, some groups challenged the 100-point questions and some were cautious and meticulous. After the first round, the fourth, sixth and first groups ranked among the top three in scores and made it directly to the finals. The other groups entered the revival stage and answered questions in turn. Eventually the third group turned the table and made it to the finals to compete with the previous three groups. After the second round of competition, the first three groups gave speeches in turn on the topics of "New Development Pattern", "Shake off Poverty" and "The Century-Old History of the Party". Zhang Guodong and Gao Yuan, two contestants from the Neighborhood, and Xu Zhengchuan, a teacher from Fudan University’s School of Management, gave speeches on behalf of their own teams. All of them shared their views with rigorous words. In the final competition stage, the fourth and sixth groups won the semi-final and made it to the final. The two groups went neck to neck at first and then the fourth group took the lead at one time. Thanks to their rich theoretical knowledge, the fourth group answered questions correctly one after another. At this critical moment, however, the fourth group made two wrong answers in a row. Then the sixth group seized the opportunity to catch up and became level with the fourth group again. Wu Yudi, an undergraduate from the fourth group, lived up to the expectations of his fellow contestants and answered the last few questions correctly and helped the group win the championship in one go.

In the end, in the fourth group, Wu Yudi from the 2019 Undergraduate Party Branch, Zhang Aiwen from the 2020 Postgraduate Party Branch of International Business (a Sino-Italian cooperation project), Xu Zhengchuan from the Party Branch of the Department of Information Management and Information Systems, and Wu Li from the General Party Branch of Zhengmin Residential Quarters of Wujiaochang Neighborhood, won the championship. In the sixth group, Wang Zhicheng Wang from the 2018 Undergraduate Party Branch, Zhang Xiaori from the 2019 Doctoral Student Party Branch, Xiao Li from the Party Branch of the Marketing Department, and Zhang Guodong from the Party Branch of Cultural Garden Residential Quarters of Wujiaochang Neighborhood, won the runner-up. In the first group, Wang Fujing from the 2020 Undergraduate Party Branch, Pan Wenzhe from the 2020 Postgraduate Party Branch of Finance, Liu Jia from the First Administrative Branch, Gao Yuan from the Party Branch of Shanghai Xueyue Education, Cao Yang (in the third group) from the 2019 Undergraduate Party Branch, Fu Huaiyu from the 2020 Postgraduate Party Branch of Data Science and Business Analysis, Yu Jiayi from the Party Branch of the Department of Management Science, and Luo Yiwen from the First Organ Party Branch of Wujiaochang Neighborhood, won the third place. The other four teams won the encouragement prize. In addition, Gao Yuan won the Best Discussion Award, while Xu Zhengchuan and Wu Li won the Best Talent Award.

The representatives of Party members from Wujiaochang Neighborhood and Fudan University’s School of Management fully showed their talent during the intense two-hour competition. After the competition, the leaders present made remarks on the activity and presented awards to the contestants.

In his closing speech, Li Yaopeng, secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan University’s School of Management, affirmed the achievements of the activity, noting that it is of great significance for the Party members of Wujiaochang Neighborhood and the teachers and students of Fudan University’s School of Management to gather here in the Party history knowledge contest on the occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Party members should further strengthen their ideals and beliefs through the study of Party history, stay true to their mission, firmly follow the Party, and more consciously arm their minds with Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era. In the next step, Party members should do a better job to make greater contributions to national construction and socialist development and greet the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the Party with practical actions.

With the singing of the International Song in chorus, the knowledge contest came to a successful end.
