On the afternoon of July 21, Ding Bo, deputy secretary of the Municipal  Communist Youth League (CYL), led a team to investigate the ideological and cultural publicity work of Yangpu CYL. The investigation was accompanied by Wang Hao, deputy district head. 

Ding Bo and the team visited Shanghai Xueyue Education and Training Co., Ltd. to listen to the popularization of Chinese traditional culture among teenagers.

Ding Bo and Wang Hao investigated Jiangwan Academy to learn about the popularization of Chinese traditional studies, youth culture and public welfare activities. 

Later at the symposium, Gu Jieting, a pianist in France, introduced the public welfare assistance of Shanghai and Henan CYLs from the aspects of school building aid, student exchange visits, donation, and exchange of Chinese studies and aesthetic education courses.

Yang Yuhao, a second-level researcher in New Jiangwan City Sub-district, introduced the successful experience of deep cooperation between Jiangwan Academy and the community, innovative participation in community governance through public service and art education, and enriching residents' cultural life.

Chen Bailin, secretary of the District CYL Committee, reported the recent practical exploration of ideological and cultural publicity of Yangpu CYL from four aspects: youth ideological guidance, Party history study and education, new media construction and investigation and research.

Ding Bo fully affirmed the staged achievements of the Yangpu CYL, and believed that the CYL Committee worked solidly and made many outstanding achievements and brands. He also put forward five requirements for the next stage of Yangpu CYL work:

1. Truly promote Party history study and education for the youth, keeping our initial intention and inheritance, but also boldly innovating ways and forms.

2. Truly promote the league building of Internet enterprises, effectively unite the youth of the online new economy, explore and innovate the mechanism of non-public league building, and make greater contributions to the central work of the district. 

3. Truly promote the study of youth ideology in the new era, make use of the research force of university think tanks, deeply understand the youth and clarify the work direction.

4. Truly promote the traditional culture education for the youth, and combine Yangpu's rich cultural resources to create characteristic projects.

5. Truly promote the building of new media and "Internet plus" brand, and intensify exploration on how the CYL integrates into and helps the digital transformation of the city.

Cao Xiaoying, deputy secretary of the District CYL, officers from the Publicity and Network Work Department of the Municipal CYL, the District Science and Technology Commission, New Jiangwan City Sub-district, the District CYL Committee and other relevant departments participated in the investigation.
