A few days ago, Xue Kan, deputy secretary of the District Party Committee and district head, and Zhao Liang and Cao Xi, deputy district heads, attended the special organization life meeting on Party history study and education of the First Party Branch of the district government. Wu Wanli, deputy head of the 8th Touring Steering Group for Party History Learning and Education of the Municipal Party Committee, Cao Guangliang, member of the Group, the Leading Group Office for Party History Learning and Education of the District Party Committee, the First Touring Steering Group of the District Party Committee, and the working Party committees of district-level organs attended the meeting. 

Xue Kan pointed out that in-depth study of the spirit of the General Secretary's important speech on July 1 is a major political task and top priority at present and in the future. We should take the opportunity of studying and implementing the spirit of the important speech to further enrich and expand the connotation of Party history study and education. He affirmed the mental outlook and work effectiveness of all Party members and cadres in the district government offices, and also pointed out the deficiencies in three aspects: the depth of theoretical study needs to be improved; the spirit of tackling difficulties needs to be carried forward; and the ability to guide the grass-roots work of service departments needs to be strengthened.
