The China-Chile Investment Promotion and Collaboration Exchange Conference recently took place at Changyang Campus, creating a dynamic platform for businesses to connect, explore opportunities, and celebrate a fresh era of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Thanks to the efforts of Chongyang Qifan (Shanghai) Consulting Management Co., Ltd., a Changyang Campus-based firm, the park has initiated formal ties with ProChile, Chile's Trade Promotion Board under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ProChile plays a vital role in supporting Chilean businesses in global expansion and attracting foreign investment to enhance the country's export trade. As a leading innovation and entrepreneurship center, Changyang Campus is home to many globally-minded companies, with a growing focus on the South American market, especially Chile, a promising economy.
Driven by shared objectives and with the backing of the Yangpu Commission of Commerce (YCC) and ProChile, Changyang Campus and Chongyang Qifan jointly organized this event, bringing together Chinese and Chilean businesses to build a collaborative platform for mutual growth.
At the event, YCC highlighted Yangpu's business environment and new foreign investment policies. Ge Yapei, Chilean Commercial Consul in Shanghai, provided an overview of Chile's investment opportunities and market potential. In a significant milestone, a Chilean company officially signed to establish its operations in Changyang Campus, forming NYT Business Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., symbolizing the launch of a promising partnership.
This event's success opens doors for Chilean businesses to explore the Chinese market while giving Chinese companies a chance to venture into Chile and South America. By setting up operations in Changyang Campus, Chilean companies can seamlessly integrate into China's business landscape and broaden their reach, while Chinese enterprises gain valuable insights and resources to navigate the Chilean market with reduced risks.
YCC emphasized plans to deepen ties with global organizations, drive local businesses toward international growth, and attract more foreign investments to Yangpu. These efforts aim to create new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and energize the economic partnership between China and Chile.
