TCECC Delegation Visits Yangpu August 28,2024
A delegation of 66 school principals from the Private Education Commission under the Ministry of Education of Thailand, organized by the Thai Chinese Education Cooperation Center (TCECC), recently paid a visit to Yangpu. The delegation was headed by Dr. Bandi Semphatangku, Chief Inspector of the Private Education Commission of TCECC, and included Pookajorn Kajorn Wan, Head of TCECC and Bao Luntian, the Chinese representative of TCECC and an overseas Chinese from Thailand. They were warmly received by Song Nanhui, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Chairperson of the Yangpu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (YFROC); Xue Yang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Siping Road Sub-district; Zhu Ling, Director of the Yangpu International Educational Exchange Service Center; and Kuai Fengmei, Secretary of the Party Branch and Principal of the Primary School Affiliated to Shanghai Second Normal School, along with other executives of the school.
The delegation was shown around the Primary School Affiliated to Shanghai Second Normal School, including distinctive spots such as Smart Hall, School History Museum, Lele TV Station, Gymnasium, Smart Classroom and One-Meter Vegetable Garden, capturing the exquisite designs and picturesque views with their cameras.
At the subsequent meeting, Song, Xue, Zhu and Kuai introduced their organizations to the Thai visitors. Dr. Bandi Semphatangku and the accompanying principals shared Thailand's educational situation and discussed educational cooperation with Yangpu. The meeting concluded with an exchange of gifts between the two sides.
Gu Bojun, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Siping Road Sub-district; and Pookajorn Kajorn Wan, Head of TCECC signed a framework agreement to formalize a cooperative and friendly partnership.
Arranged by YFROC, the Thai delegation also visited the Shanghai Printing Museum at Shanghai Publishing and Printing College.
