On the morning of May 26, the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Zotter Chocolate Theatre Shanghai was held. Present were Zhou Haiying, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Head of Yangpu District; Ni Bing, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yangpu District Committee and Executive Deputy Head of Yangpu District; Helmut Rakowitsch, Austrian Consul General in Shanghai; and Christian Fuchssteine, Commercial Consul of the Austrian Consulate General in Shanghai. Guests from home and abroad gathered at Yangpu Riverside to celebrate the 10th birthday of Zotter Chocolate Theatre Shanghai.

On the site, leaders and corporate representatives jointly unveiled the China-Austria Zotter Business and Cultural Exchange Center. With the unveiling of the exchange center as an opportunity, we expect and welcome outstanding companies, elite talents and professional institutions from home and abroad to frequently visit Yangpu, choose Yangpu and take root in Yangpu. Yangpu will make every endeavor to create a livable and commerce-friendly urban environment, as well as the warmest business environment in Shanghai, support old friends in operating vigorously in Yangpu, and attract new friends to invest and start business here.

Zotter Chocolate Theatre not only retains the essence of Zotter Chocolate Factory, but also innovates in scenarios of cultural and creative consumer experiences. It is committed to creating an immersive chocolate-themed museum, as well as a fashionable landmark integrating sightseeing, experience, cultural creation and consumption.

Located at the Shanghai Fashion Center in Yangpu Riverside, the theatre opened in 2014. Over the past decade, it has attracted more than 80,000 tourists, scholars, artists and friends from around the world to visit Yangpu. This innovative theater has injected cultural vitality and fashion charm into Yangpu Riverside.

In early 2017, the theatre was included as a Shanghai Science Education Base to spread related scientific knowledge. In 2022, it was authorized by China Europe International Business School as its teaching and research base, and became a teaching case for both Harvard University and CEIBS. In 2023, it was designated as a unit up to the service standards for industrial tourism attractions in Shanghai.

As a regular participant of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), Zotter Chocolates has appeared at CIIE for six consecutive years. Especially at the 6th CIIE last year, it appeared with 50 new Christmas products, showing more than 10,000 domestic and foreign visitors the unique and innovative flavors of Zotter chocolates, as well as its exquisite and trendy peripherals. This boosted buyers' field visits to Zotter Chocolate Theatre, and allowed more international businesses and friends to know Yangpu better.

Now, Yangpu is witnessing the vigorous development of the digital economy.
