Over the past few days, Yangpu District has welcomed a number of foreign guests, including a delegation of international civil society, a delegation of the Thai Civil Service Commission, a delegation of the German-Chinese Friendship Association, and a delegation of international think tanks participating in the International Outlook Roundtable. These foreign guests visited the Riverside, exhibition halls and enterprises, and gained a deeper understanding of the unique charm of Yangpu's urban development, and talked about their feelings and expectations for the future development of Yangpu.

On October 11, a delegation of international civil society from eight countries, including Tanzania, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan, visited Yangpu Riverside. Accompanied by Shi Fang, Deputy Mayor of Yangpu District, the delegation visited along the Yangpu Riverside, enjoying the beauty of this former industrial heritage and current urban public space. They stopped to admire the bustling scene on both sides of the Huangpu River and marveled at the unique charm of Shanghai as an international metropolis.

"The historical buildings here have been well protected and utilized," said a delegation member from Tanzania, "I'm deeply impressed to see that these buildings have been given new life while retaining their original appearance."

On October 17, a delegation from the Thai Civil Service Commission visited Chuangzhi Tiandi Park to learn more about SUNMI's commercial digital solutions and the overall development of Chuangzhi Tiandi Park. During the visit, members of the delegation took pictures of the impressive exhibit areas with their cell phones, and many of them carefully asked the employers of SUNMI about the detailed information of the products and ordering methods. In the Dachuangzhi showroom, the colorful and splendid digital exhibition hall made the delegation members marvel, and they expressed that they looked forward to more in-depth cooperation with Yangpu District in the field of digitization in the future.

On October 18 and 19, a delegation from the German-Chinese Friendship Association and a number of important foreign guests from the United States, Singapore, South Africa, Kazakhstan and other countries participating the International Outlook Roundtable arrived at Yangpu Riverside for their visit, to learn more about the important concept of "a city built by the people and for the people" put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and do a field survey of the Shanghai sample of the construction of people's city.

In the Yangpu Riverside People's City Construction Planning Exhibition Hall, led by the guide through electronic bookshelves, models, exhibition walls, multimedia and other means, members of the delegation deeply felt the development history and construction achievements of Yangpu Riverside in practicing the important concept of "people's city", as well as the historical progress of Shanghai's old district transformation in the past 30 years.

Through the field visit and personal experience, the members of these foreign guest groups not only deeply understood the economic and social development of Yangpu, but also were unanimously optimistic about the internationalization of Yangpu in the future, which will surely promote the international civil exchanges and cooperation of Yangpu to a new level.
