The Party! A Veteran is Ready to Report to You tells the stories of Yao Meifang, a national model retired soldier who has been to Xinjiang in support of its development five times, Lu Chenming, a pilot who flew to the nuclear test area for sampling, Yang Shen'an, a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and Liu Yuanxiang, an 88-year-old retired cadre, showing their love and loyalty to the Party and the nation;

The boys' chorus Red Journey, the male and female duet You are My Beidou, and the female chorus Red Boat Sailing towards the Future let everyone feel the "Red Boat" spirit of the Communist Party of China – fighting to the bitter end;

The song and dance performance I am Still There for You created based on Li Xiaojing, a retired military cadre who went to Wuhan as a volunteer during the epidemic, and the one-act drama Silk of Love created based on the staff who joined the airport epidemic prevention volunteer team, showed the retirees' sense of responsibility and love for the Party and the nation;

The song performance Backbones of the Chinese Nation, which was co-performed by retired workers, praised generations of heroic models who have made great contributions to the development of the Party and the nation;

The dance Ode to the Party and the song Without the Communist Party, There Would be No New China sung by all the performers pushed the performance to its climax, fully demonstrating the rich and colorful cultural life and high-spirited appearance of the retired military cadres, and even showing their loyalty and love for the Party and the nation and their faith in "always following the Party".

At the key historical intersection of the "two one-hundred years" goal, the Center, under the guidance of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Veterans Affairs and Yangpu District Bureau of Veterans Affairs, has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the mobilization meeting on the study and education of Party history, tapped Red resources, and given full play to the team advantages of the studios of "Yangpu Retired Military Lecturer Group", "Yangpu Retired Military Art Group" and "Veterans Always Follow the Party", inherited Red genes and the spirit of the Communists, guided Party members, especially the younger generation, to stay true to their mission, strengthen their faith and make unremitting efforts to build socialist modernization in an all-round way in the new era.

The performance was attended by more than 400 people, including the main leaders of Yangpu District Bureau of Veterans Affairs, its subordinate institutions, directors of relevant departments of Shanghai Military Retired Cadres Service Management Center, main leaders of Yangpu District Central Hospital and Yangpu Sub-branch of Bank of China Shanghai Branch, relevant comrades of the Shanghai University of Technology Affiliated Middle School, the Party and government team and some staff members of the Center, as well as representatives of retired military cadres.
