On the morning of March 25, under the Cultural Service Day of the 2018 Shanghai Citizens Art Festival, the opening ceremony of 2018 Citizens Art Festival in Changbai New Village Community and the joint concert of "Mamma Mia" winners and community talent kicked off at the community cultural activity center. A total of more than 180 people were invited to attend the event, including representatives of district units, community cultural and sports teams, award-winning representatives, neighborhood committee cadres and community art lovers.

The event began with Changbai Juvenile Dance Troupe's dance “ Xiyangyang" that won the 2018 First Children's Dance Spring Festival Gala of CCTV's New Animation Channel. The children's joyful and festive performance made the scene lively. Then the winners of "Mamma Mia" TV reality show such as Tie Ling, Ren Ji and Guo Lirong took the stage one after another to share with the public the video they recorded in "Mamma Mia" and the real and touching story behind it, and to sing the song "Sky Road", "Heart" and "You Will Come When Flowers Bloom" etc. Changbai Community Men's chorus was also invited to sing “Song of Guerrilla" and "Shaolin Shaolin" affectionately, sharing their strength, courage, confidence and optimism with the contestants of "Mamma Mia" to enhance the artistic atmosphere of community citizens, spread positive energy, advocate correct values, outlook on life and love, and promote family harmony and happiness. At the opening ceremony, the community leaders also praised the cultural and sports teams, outstanding instructors and representatives of art volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the community sports program, and encouraged them to make persistent efforts and make brilliant achievements in 2018.

In the afternoon, at the community cultural activity center, the "Golden Dog Playing with Beads to Deliver Auspiciousness; People guessing riddle to welcome the Spring Festival - Special Show by Drama Team" opened a drama carnival for community Shanghai Opera Team, Shaoxing Opera Team, Peking Opera Team, Yangzhou Opera Team and senior opera fans. The first play staged was the “various genres" of Shaoxing Opera performed by Team of Community Shaoxing Opera. As soon as the actors started, they used melodious and long, sometimes strong and fierce singing tunes to hold the attention of every audience present and instantly pulled the citizens back to the traditional drama from the modern concert in the morning under the classical melody accompanied by the band. As a well-known classic drama, Fengyu Zhuiniang, sung by the Shanghai Opera Team, was euphemistic and touching under the wonderful performance of Miao Hehua and Meng Lijun. The Beijing Opera Team's selection of “Little Cowherd" was idyllic and fresh; the "Jade Dragonfly Selection - Advising Empress" by the Yangzhou Opera Team was tortuous and plaintive. The performers of the opera team won applause from the old fans for their extraordinary singing skills and beautiful  making-up. The performance was the perfect ending in the performance of “The Dragon House Meeting" by Team B of Shaoxing Opera. The performance also reflects the dedication and persistence of the key members of the community drama team who put drama above anything else.

The “Little Wukui: Children's Martial Arts Experience Course” in the evening also attracted the participation of community  families. Some children have been practicing martial arts since the establishment of the "Little Wukui" Children's Martial Arts Training Base in Changbai; not only can they systematically complete some basic martial arts routines, but also read "Disciple Gauge" and other classical Chinese studies under the guidance of SMG's professional host, learn martial arts etiquette such as fist-palm salute  and bowing salute , improve vigor and spirit, and inherit Chinese martial arts culture and Chinese classics.

The Cultural Service Day in March 25 in Changbai Community is a feast for cultural exchange, providing a platform for the community's literary and art lovers to exchange and meeting the cultural needs of citizens of different ages. Inspired by the theme “culture for better life", the community citizens actively participate in community cultural activities and share the benefit brought by cultural activities together.
