Line 4
Operating time of first / last train: inner ring (up): the first train from Hongqiao Road Station at 5:37 a.m. and the last train at 9:13 p.m. for the round trip and 10:17 p.m. for the section of Hongqiao Road Station to Yishan Road Station; outside ring (down): the first train from Yishan Road Station at 5:30 a.m. and the last train at 10:14 p.m. for the round trip and at 10:10 p.m. for the section to the terminal Hongqiao Road Station.
 
Line 8
It travels 22 km from Shiguang Road in Yangpu District to Yaohua Road in Pudong New Area. Operating time: 5:55 a.m. to 9:55 p.m. at Yaohua Road Station, and 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Shiguang Road Station.
Line 10 (Not Open Yet)
The phase I project of Line 10, a key line from northeast to southeast of Shanghai, starts from New Jiangwan Town in Yangpu District in the north to the high-speed railway station in Qiaobao in the west. The phase II extension project will start from New Jiangwan Town to Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.
Due to the relocation of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway station to the east, the western terminal of Line 10 was resettled in the Hongqiao integrated transport hub. The first phase will open to the public in March 2010.
Line 12 (Not Open Yet)
As a major line of the metro network, Line 12 is a southwest to northeast line through the downtown area of Shanghai.
It covers a total length of 40.4 km from Qixin Road Station in Minhang District to Jinhai Road Station, passing Gudai Road, Caobao Road, Longcao Road, Longhua Road, Damuqiao, South Shaanxi Road, Maoming Road, Chang'an Road, Qufu Road, Tiantong Road, East Changzhi Road, Changyang Road, Fuxing Island (off the Huangpu River) and Jufeng Road. It will open to the public in 2012.
